Palin Seeks $11M Book Deal, but Can She Read?

Whatever's going to be in the book, the former VP candidate is asking for an $11 million book deal, and has hired a famous Washington lawyer to get it for her, the Los Angeles Times revealed. (That's more than Laura Bush's less-than $2 million, Bill Clinton's $10 million memoir and Hillary Clinton's $8 million deal.)
The figure is obviously a bit staggering, given Palin's inability to construct simple sentences in subject-verb format. That's probably what prompted left-leaning MSNBC host Chris Matthews to blatantly state, "If she can read, if she can write, she's gonna make some money."
"The big question is," Matthews determined, "Who's gonna actually write the Palin book? The only politician I know who can write is Barack Obama."
To answer Matthews's question: Yes, Sarah Palin knows how to read. In fact, I believe she's very well-versed in biblical studies, having plenty of knowledge to declare that dinosaurs and humans in fact co-existed.
Although when Katie Couric asked the Alaska governor which newspapers she reads to know what's going on outside of her bubble, Palin was too stunned and couldn't think of any. (She figured it out a few days later and declared that she can read a few upper-level publications, among them The Economist.)
No doubt people will ask why this is all newsworthy more than two months after she failed to help John McCain win the election. The simple answer is because Palin appears to be trying to stay in the spotlight as much as she can, as her fans urge her to consider a 2012 presidential candidacy.
Yet top endorsements for her are hard to come by, especially following a GOP ticket that many people say she hurt more than helped. Even her knight in maverick armor, McCain, wouldn't endorse her over other Republican governors.
Aside from telling her life story to stay in the news, Palin has lashed out at the media again, this time for reporting about her children. Though politicos have pointed out that publicity is a two-way street: You can't thrust your kids in front of cameras to bolster your "family values" without expecting journalists to report on who your family really is.
Finally, remember Palin's $180,000 wardrobe that she said would be donated to charity after the election? Turns out all the clothes have been stuffed in trash bags at the RNC's Washington headquarters.
Though if Palin doesn't clean up her mess, her clothes won't be the only things in the garbage.

Honestly people,
Did none of you listen to any of her interviews? Case closed. No way should she even be considered for any office outside of Alaska. If they love her so much let them keep her. But don't expect anyone in the lower 48 to even give her a second look. Let's be thankful that this country has always found the right President in times of trouble. But then again we did elect Bush and that is why we are in this mess. Now we have to pray Obama has the fortitude to lead us back to the top.

You can blame Bush partly for the economic woes of this country but it is so apalling to see these demented liberals, from Hollywood "prescription dependent" stars to idiots like Chris Matthews and you bashing this woman who has done something good for her state. You can't even compare her accomplishments to Barack! BHO has done nothing for Illinois but surround himself with the likes of Ayers, Reszko, Wright and Blago, and dumb asses like you have already praised him like he's done something great. Sure, he is the first half white, half black president of this country and thats about it! This nation is doomed!

Perhaps she can use the writer who wrote Caroline Kennedy's books? I think it is quite obvious she did not write them. Or maybe the one who wrote Obama's books? It is also obvious that this man is absolutely a dumbass without a teleprompter or speech writer. You know, Obama won but these liberals cannot seem to get Palin out of their system. Do you even know how smart someone would have to be to accomplish what President Obama has? Do you understand what it means to be the editor of the Harvard Law Review? He taught Constitutional Law. Do you even know what the Constitution says. Amazing.

I feel the effigy of sara was wrong. D yid you see the republican crowds when sara spoke? the elderly man carrying a monkey toy with obama sticker, the obama hanging sign in a rednecks yard,the multiple effigys of Obama, the shouts of kill him, hang him, and other choice threats. The republican volunteer who hurt herself and blamed blacks. The list goes on... Lets face it the majority of people who dislike Obama do so because of color. The comments of I have black friends... is a classic racist explanation. Sara is not an intelligent woman, she is manipulative and savvy in some areas. She is not capable of running this country. Obama is a very intelligent man, no amount of grousing and throwing out innuendo or lies can change that fact. Sara was devisive and rude, Obama never insulted her personally, and he never stooped to her level. Fortunantly John McCain finally stepped forward and tried to stop Palin and her ilk, he was embarrassed by her behavior and lack of basic knowledge of geography,laws, and basic rules of behavior in a civilised society.

p.s. try writing something useful, like how funding contraception in the latest round of TARP priorities from the democratic administration, will stimulate the economy. I know...it requires journalistic effort, and it is so much easier to talk about one's makeup and donated used wardrobe than it is to actually try and write on real issues. Then again, who wants to be identified with Rush Limbaugh by actually critiquing the new President?

Sarah stumbled on bitch ass Katie Couric's interview because she was shocked that Katie was asking her if she could read. It was a set up and it worked. Too bad Sarah is a nice LADY. I would seriously doubt that you could take the heat that she did! As for college BFD...she graduated. She became the most popular Governor in the US. I think you need to go back to college and learn how to be a journalist..where did you intern; the inquirer? You are a hack! I hope she gets the money! I will buy her book!

Sarah Palin is a LOSER. Where do people get off saying that SHE has more experience than President Obama? Her lack of knowledge, annoying voice, and inconsistent education speaks for itself. Palin was a Govenor for less than 2 years at the time of her use job for VP. It makes me wonder how she really got the job. Was it on her back or her knees? She is as brainless as a rock on a beach. Barack Obama was a SENATOR in Washington, D.C. since 2004 which he served less than 4 years in the Senate before running for President. Unlike Palin, Obama not only graduated from 2 ivy league schools(Columbia and Harvard) but they are top colleges in the country! AND HE GRADUATED AT THE TOP OF HIS CLASS.How can you put the names of Sarah Palin and Barack Obama in the same sentence? Sarah Palin is not only ignorant of information, but she is an embarrasment everytime she opens he uninformed mouth. Anyone who thinks they can see "Russia from their house" just because they live in Alaska or does not know that Africa is a continent and not a country (not to mention simple geography of the world) should be fired from any type of governmental influenced office and sent back to 5th grade!

The president of Iraqi, traveled all the way to Alaska to converse with Governor Sara Palin. He told her he had been watching her govern, and wanted to set Iraqi up for the people just as she has done in Alaska. I
would sleep better if we had a trust worthy, true American, honest down home, soccer mom, citizen running our country.
