Wow, McCain won this hands down. I was an Obama supporter but if you noticed, Most importantly, McCain is the TRUE AMERICAN. He truely believes in our great country and cares about what happens to it. Think before you cast your real vote on Nov. 4. I trust McCain with my children and grandchildren's future.

John McCain was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and has been on a free ride after he departed service. He not the only one that served this country and was a prisoner of war.

Wow, you are easily fooled, aren't you?! McCain is NOT any more of a true American than Obama is! Go ahead and vote for McCain. You are going to possibly end up with Palin, who is woefully lacking in experience and knowledge. She is also deceitful and dishonest and shady in her dealings. Do you like wild animals? Cats? Palin HATES animals, especially the wolves. She ORDERED the deaths of 15 baby wolf pups last June. She had EACH one SHOT in the HEAD!? Against Alaskan law. The pups were dragged out of their den after the adult pack was killed, on orders of Palin! The pups were only a month old and still nursing! And THIS is what you want for a vice president!? A woman who lies, who kills for fun, who has no concept of how important our wildlife is. She is even for the slaughter of the wild mustangs. And it is not just that. She forces rape victims in Alaska to pay for their own rape kits! She participated in an exorcism done on her by a "minister" (witch doctor) from Africa before she became governor. I saw the video. McCain was rude tonight, and didn't say anything new. He barely could hold his temper in.

The "true" American is Obama. We do not have time for this partisan petty back and forth. This country is falling apart and McCain reaches for the likes of Rick and Schmit who only know one way to play the game. Obama does not bring up Keating 5,Cindy McCains drug dealing that cost doctors their licenses and jail time, she negotiated the system as a Senators wife, he does not bring up the Alliance Freedom a Neo-Natzi group McCain sat on the board for 10 years nor does he bring up the sessionist alliances of Sarah Palin arguably one of the least serious candidates for that office-wink wink aw shucks and you betcha. Country First indeed.

The choice between big government and lots of spending (Obama) or more individual choice and freedoms (McCain)
If you want to fix a problem you first need a clear understanding of what's broken. The problem, as I see it, is the inability of the government to address, the every need of every person in the United States. This is the under lying fundamental problem and it begs the question, "should it even try?"
To me it sounds unrealistic, but lets take an example of trying to satisfy everyone. Lets start with an innocent little proposal signed in to law by Democratic President Jimmy Carter called the Community Reinvestment Act back in 1977. This law forced banks to make loans to low income, high risk customers. This was pushed into existence by a group called ACORN. The representatives of ACORN said that banks discriminated against minorities in mortgage lending. Seeing as no politician can afford to be labeled racist, and expect keep his job, the government told banks to collect race information on their customers in order to verify ACORN'S claim.
Low and behold the information gathered indicated minorities were rejected more frequently. (Surprise!)
But a closer examination revealed that these people did not meet the banks criteria for the loan and race had nothing to do with it. It's simple really, anyone who can't afford to pay back the loan DOES NOT GET ONE.
But someone (a few misguided American presidents) forgot that banks are a business not an entitlement agency. If any one does not agree with me on this, than go down to your local gas station, find the guy who asks for spare change, buy him a house with YOUR money and tell him to make the monthly payments back to you. Good Luck.
At the time former Texas Senator Phil Gramm, PhD economist, called this law, "A vast extortion scheme against the nation's banks" but nevertheless the government caved under the glaring weight of being labeled racist and sub prime loans were born . Oh Happy DAY!!
In 1995, Democratic President Bill Clinton, pushed along by ACORN, greatly expanded the Community Reinvestment Act that required banks to actually FIND WAYS to provide mortgages to poorer communities. It also allowed community activists like (ACORN) to intervene at yearly bank reviews. Banks that got poor reviews were punished by having merger plans blocked or direct legal challenges by the Justice Department.
By the way, this laid the ground work for the current Freddie Mac Fannie Mae financial crisis we are all now in but we will get to that later.
ACORN armed with this new revised law formed ACORN Housing to promote write and get paid for making sub prime loans. They pushed these loans aggressively throughout poorer communities country wide! Oops, did I say countrywide (bank)? Well yes I did! Countrywide bank, singled out by Fannie Mae as a paragon of nondiscriminatory lending, having the most flexible underwriting criteria permitted. Their one billion dollar commitment to low income loans in 1992 had grown to 80 billion by 1999 and 600 billion by 2003 but hey who cares, government sponsored Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac were underwriting the loans (so thank you Mr. President Clinton) so this absolved lenders, mortgage bundlers and investors of any concern over the obvious risk. And don't forget it was the government that told them they had to do it or be penalized by the JUSTICE DEPARTMENT! Oh, did I mention that ACORN had a WORKING relationship with the king of free money Countrywide, how convenient. Also they receive 40% of their money from the government, our tax dollars at work! In the first bail out bill, democrats tried to include ACORN funding to the tune of 20% of the 700 billion dollar plus package! Thank you Mr McCain for going to Washington to stop this abuse.
All right now we can get to the GOOD PART.
Why didn't the regulators, working for a Democratic controlled congress in Washington see this coming? May be the lights were out? They forgot their glasses at home? Called in sick? No silly, they were getting paid to sleep. But you knew that already,
didn't you? You sly dog!
In 2005 a few Republicans (John McCain is one) tried to rein in Fannie and Freddie but it failed due to intense lobbying by Fannie and Freddy. Fannie and Freddie used huge lobbying budgets and political contributions to keep regulators off their backs. Well you say, "Who was in charge of these dam sleeping regulators?!!" Ok Ok it's coming.
Now I bet you want to know who got paid the big bucks. Well, first on the list if you go by dollar amounts is Democratic Senator Chris Dodd. He received 165,400 bucks. And, you ask "What was his job?" you'll never guess, Chairman of the senate Banking committee. It was his job to watch something, wait, wait I forgot, and obviously so did he. Sorry, I'm just being sarcastic.
Now I wonder where he did his banking? Yep, you guessed it, with the corporate poster child for the national subprime lending meltdown, Countrywide. As a matter of fact he was in there special program called FOA which stands for Friends of Angelo, which grants him special treatment and special low interest loans. Do a google search and just type in, friends of Angelo, you won't believe how important Angelo is! Good old Chris Dodd has received 21,000 from Countrywide and an additional approximately 70,000 from Bank of America in campaign contributions.
Only Senators Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton have gotten more from Bank of America. As a matter of fact this is the same issue that brought down Jim Johnson as Obama's campaign advisor, another
recipient of Angelo Mozilo and Countrywide but we will get to him later.
Are you ready for number two, well here he is fresh out of law school in his new job as senator, with aspirations to become President of the most power full country in the world, Mr. Barack Obama!! That's right folks, in just a few short years Mr. Obama has managed to rack up the number 2 spot from Freddie and Fannie 126,349 dollars. Now you might ask "What makes Mr. Obama so darn special?" OK I'll tell you. Remember that guy that's friends with Angelo, Jim Johnson, he was the former CEO of Fannie Mae and
guess what, an advisor on Mr. Obama's vice presidential search.
Sorry, there I go being sarcastic again but anyway
I guess they were close, not just another guy in the neighboring Hood as Mr. Obama claims terrorist Bill Ayers was to him. A figure in his day similar to Osama Bin Laden.
Its amazing to me that Mr Obama didn't realize that Jim Johnson, CEO of Fannie Mae had cooked the books by deferring 200 million in expenses. This enabled top executives including Johnson and his successor, Franklin Raines to receive substantial bonuses in 1998. Johnson's compensation was reported as 6 to 7 million but after the books were checked he actually received approximately 21 million. Not a bad day at the office right Jim?
This came out in 2006, just 2 years ago, but Mr. Obama probably didn't read the news paper that month or watch any TV so he didn't know anything about this, right Mr. Obama?
Oh and in case I forget, Mr. Raines, who the Washington Post calls a member of Mr. Obama's political circle made 50 million in bonuses by cooking Fannie's books. Wow, when it Raines it pours!
Now you may think these guys got in all sorts of trouble, right well guess again. Johnson and Raines were fined 3 million by the office of Federal Housing Over site. Not a bad investment, 3 million earns a total of 71 million yeah baby!
Oh right, I was talking about Mr.Obama and how does he fit into all this? Well besides receiving money from Fannie and Freddie he was the legal representation or the lawyer for ACORN, helping them to pass and enforce The community Reinvestment Act. Wow full circle!
And in case I forget we must give honorable mention to another decision Mr.Obama has made, and that would be his pick of Penny Pritzker as his Presidential Finance Chairperson. A really good choice Mr. Obama!
Ms. Penny helped develop the complicated investment bundling of sub prime securities at the heart of the current meltdown. She did so in her position as shareholder and board chair of Superior Bank. And yes, you guessed it, the bank failed in 2001, one of the largest in recent history, wiping out 50 million in uninsured life savings of approximately 1400 customers. Go Penny GO!! Put her name in a google search to find out how she made money from the RICO suit brought against her. Absolutely Brilliant. She earned her spot in this hood.
This is why we hope Mr. Obama doesn't make any decisions, and votes "present" all the time, we are afraid of him making another terrible mistake. Thank you Mr. Obama from the great state of Illinois and Chicago politics.
Now for extra credit do a google.com search on these people and see for yourself before you vote, and just for fun type in, broadway bank obama, then just pick some articles and start reading, alas your eyes will be opened.
For change you can really believe in vote McCain/ Palin

Your lack of critical analysis from a non partisan lense is disappointing. Did you see McCain at an Acorn event as recently as 2 years ago, celebrating what good work they do?
Phil Graham and Sarah Palin are even scarier. At least Obama is indebted to 2million of us - $250 at a time. Not 20 or 30 of Cindi McCains rich friends. Morally what would you think of a guy who came back from war and divorced his crippled wife and married someone who was a billionaire and 17 years your junior. He is erractic and did not put COUNTRY FIRST in his pick of VP. Caribou Barbie is an assault on reasonableness.
Look more closely at who all of these men affiliate with: Phil Graham deregulated the banking/investment industry. Under Pres. Bush they were allowed to keep merely One dollar for every Forty they loaned out. WOW
take of the partisan glasses. You guys did not even like McCain until he started courting some of these right wingers.

Once again, McCain showed himself to be a hothead. He makes idle boasts he never backs up..."I can balance budget," "I can end the war," "I can catch bin ladain." Great, How? Don't keep it a secret.
McCain was also very rude and constantly interupted Obama, while Obama politely let McCain make his points. Obama successfully defended himself against the lies involving Ayers (Republicans have just as much contact as Ayers and his education campaign), Acorn, etc. Those are non-issues now. McCain looked like a petty liar.
I was also struck by how jealous McCain is over Obama's campaign financial success and spending on commercials. Is it bad that so many people support Obama with contributions and that he managed his finances better?
I admit, McCain did his best debate, but it doesn't matter. I don't agree with his policies. They are just more of the same, despite his protestations that he's not Bush. He is offering nothing new. Liadan

The beauty of our presidential system is that the term or contract is only for four years. I do not believe in strict adherence to either party ideology. All things move in cycles. The truth is, the last 8 years have devestated our personal economies. Socialism is a harsh change, but it's not like it needs to last more than four years. We can always elect another Republican down the line. In the meantime, a quick dose of "spread the wealth" will, in fact, help a lot of people get back on their feet and strengthen our economic base. Greed is okay, but you've got to know when to reign it in. Wall Street is proving that right now. Obama could win. McCain could still win. In the end, it's just four years. Relax.

Finally Mccain exposed Obama for what he is...a liberal spender who will raise our taxes and will hurt the economy more. For Obama to "spread the wealth around" couldn't be more socialist. If a person works hard for their money they should be able to keep it not give it to Obama to "spread around" to those who are too lazy or whatever reason, not to work for their money.

The third debate was the best one by far to me. I feel as though McCain did well in the first half hour, but in the end Obama came out on top. Obama always appears calm, cool and collective. He, in my opinion comes across in every way as the President of the United States should. I felt McCain was extremely angry and trying very hard to hold his anger in. I am afraid that the American people just saw a taste of McCains anger in the last and final debate, but if he were to become the President, he would be far more harmful. Obama was extremely clear in every area, and in his proposals where as McCains main objective was to degrade and attack. It was very clear to me, especially after last nights debate who should be the President, and that is Obama. Vote Obama for CHANGE!!!!

Forgive me for missing something here, but just what do you McCain supporters base your belief on, that McCain is going to change ANYTHING? Have you all been delighted with the Bush administration these past 8 years? As much as he croaks "I'm not Bush", he supported the worst administration in our history over 90% of the time. Do you just conveniently forget this, when you babble about his "experience", how he loves America, he's a war hero, etc etc.? Kerry was a war hero too, but that bottom feeding Bush and Rove team did everything in their power to destroy his record. You don't hear Obama and the Dems asking McCain about why he let the Cong know he was an admiral's son, shortly after capture, to get better treatment, or how he was 5th or 6th from the bottom of his college graduating class, or any of the crap that the Republican reptiles just love to spin against any worthwhile opposing candidates. You know why?? Because they are not as low and immoral as the Republicans have ALWAYS been.
Republicans are hypocrites and liars. They have never done ANYTHING for the working person, nada. The bottom line issue is they need to be OUT of Washington. If you don't like Obama after 4 years, then for God's sake, vote him out, but let's give ourselves a chance at some real changes that will help the majority of us, who do NOT make 250,000+ a year, and have been getting raped these past 8 years.
If all McCain can come up with is an association with a campus radical from the 60's, who is now a college professor and geezer like him, then Obama is clean.
GO OBAMA AND BIDEN!!
