Did I watch a different debate from others? McCain came out strong. Obama repeated almost everything McCain said. Obama did have good points but he never answered how much it will cost the American people if they don't get health coverage for their kids. That's and answer I would like to hear.

Brokow did a terrible job tonight--he should have let the candidates go at it. We as Americans wanted to hear all they had to say and we did not get the chance. Everything that was said tonight was said in the 1st debate by both parties

Obama danced around the question that if Iran attacked Israel what would he do. Never answered. Yet,when McCain was asked the same question he said he would take action against Iran.

The reality of all the "Hype" as to what each candidate claims he will do, or not do as President of the USA in reality is hinged on what CONGRESS and the SENATE does, or does not do in years to come! The whole reason many Presidents in the past have not been able to get certain programs into action is because of the Congress, and/or the Senate. This is why NOTHING gets done by any administration term after term, while the Presidents are blamed for certain failures in our country.
Promises made by any candidate for President all sound great, however they remain contingent on what Congress and the Senate approves, or disapproves in finality.

I agree that Tom Brokaw did a terrible
job, he was off his game. Mr. Brokaw,
in my opinion, is highly overrated,
smug and arrogant.
